For most farmers, changes in Democratic nominee Joe Biden's tax plan would be negligible. But for farmers earning more than $400,000 a year, they would see higher income taxes, payroll taxes and the loss of some business and personal deductions. Capital gains rates become ordinary income for people earning more than $1 million. Estate tax exemptions would fall as well.
